What is the best app for pricing Pokemon cards at card shows? ▾
VendBro is built specifically for card show vendors. It scans Pokemon cards with your phone camera and shows TCGPlayer market prices in about 2 seconds. Unlike general pricing apps, it has binder mode (scan 9 cards at once), condition-based pricing (NM/LP/HP/DMG), named sessions for tracking show sales, and CSV export. It works in your browser with no download needed.
How does VendBro identify Pokemon cards? ▾
VendBro recognizes over 170,000 cards as of May 2026: about 30,000 English Pokémon, 30,000 Japanese Pokémon, and 112,000 Magic: The Gathering cards. Point your phone camera at a card and the app returns a match in about two seconds. It handles holos, reverse holos, full-arts, alt arts, vintage sets, and Japanese-only prints. New sets are added within days of release — the latest Pokémon set, Chaos Rising (released May 22, 2026), is already scannable.
How do I price a Pokemon binder quickly? ▾
Use VendBro's binder mode. Switch to Binder mode, photograph a full binder page, and get up to 9 cards identified and priced at once. Each card shows the TCGPlayer market price. You can tap individual cards to save them to your session. A full 9-pocket binder page takes about 3 seconds to scan and price.
What pricing data does VendBro use? ▾
VendBro shows TCGPlayer market prices on every scan, updated daily. These are based on actual recent sales on TCGPlayer, not just listings. For additional verification, you can check eBay sold prices for raw, PSA 9, and PSA 10 values. Prices are adjusted automatically based on card condition (NM 100%, LP 85%, MP 70%, HP 50%, DMG 25%).
Does VendBro work with Japanese Pokemon cards? ▾
Yes. The Japanese model recognizes 30,000+ Japanese cards including the M-series and JP-only sets. Auto-detect routes JP cards to the right model automatically. For confidently matched JP cards, the app returns the English equivalent so TCGPlayer and PriceCharting pricing comes through automatically. You can also force EN or 日本語 in the Language menu when sweeping a single-language binder.
How much does VendBro cost? ▾
VendBro has a free tier with 20 scans per day. The Pro plan includes unlimited scans, binder mode, eBay sold prices, Japanese card pricing, condition grading, named sessions, and CSV export. Pricing is available within the app.
What Pokemon card scanner shows eBay sold prices? ▾
VendBro shows both TCGPlayer market prices (instant, on every scan) and eBay recently sold prices (on-demand, for raw and PSA graded values). Most card scanner apps only show one price source. VendBro gives you both so you can compare what cards are listing for versus what they actually sell for.
Can I track my sales at a card show? ▾
Yes. VendBro has named sessions for tracking card show activity. You can name each session (like "Saturday Card Show" or "Client Binder Pricing"), log every sale with the actual price, and export the entire session as a CSV file at the end of the day. The app tracks total cards scanned, market value, revenue, and sales count.
Does VendBro handle card condition and grading? ▾
Yes. After scanning a card, you can tap NM (Near Mint), LP (Lightly Played), MP (Moderately Played), HP (Heavily Played), or DMG (Damaged) and the displayed price adjusts automatically. NM shows full market price, LP shows 80%, HP shows 50%, and DMG shows 25%. The condition is saved to your scan history and included in CSV exports.
How does VendBro compare to TCGPlayer's app? ▾
TCGPlayer's app shows prices from their own marketplace. VendBro shows TCGPlayer market prices plus eBay sold data in one scan. VendBro also has features built specifically for vendors: binder mode for pricing 9 cards at once, condition-based pricing, named show sessions with CSV export, and Japanese card support. VendBro works in your browser with no app store download.
Do I need to download an app? ▾
No. VendBro is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that works directly in your phone's browser at app.vendbro.com. You can optionally add it to your home screen for a native app-like experience, but no app store download is required.
What if VendBro can't identify my card? ▾
If the camera scan doesn't find the right card, you can search manually by typing the card name and set number. You can also report incorrect matches so the AI model improves over time. The model learns from every confirmed scan to get better at identifying cards in real-world conditions like sleeves, glare, and show lighting.
What's BinderBro, and how's it different from VendBro? ▾
BinderBro is our sister Android app — a $1.99 one-time purchase for collectors who want a fully-offline, no-account card scanner with virtual binder pages. It uses on-device AI (no internet required, ever), recognizes 22,700+ Pokémon cards, and lets you build sharable 3×3 / 3×4 / 4×4 binder pages. VendBro is the vendor-grade tool with live TCGPlayer + eBay pricing, graded ladders, JP card support, sessions, and an API. Use BinderBro if you're a personal collector who just wants to catalog and share. Use VendBro if you price cards for money — at shows, online, or for your shop. Details and download on vendbro.com/binderbro.
Does VendBro have an API or a Claude / Cursor integration? ▾
Yes — included with Pro. There's a public REST API (OpenAPI 3.1 documented at api.vendbro.com/v1/docs) plus an MCP server published on npm as
@vendbro/mcp-server. The MCP drops into Claude Desktop, Cursor, and Zed and exposes 15 tools covering the full vendor workflow: card recognition from images, name-based price lookup (Pokemon + JP), scan history read/write/bulk-import, named sessions, inventory CRUD with binder location, and sales analytics. Install: npx -y @vendbro/mcp-server with your VENDBRO_API_KEY in env. API access requires a Pro subscription ($7.99/mo); generate keys from your profile once subscribed. Full MCP install guide + tool reference at vendbro.com/mcp; REST API docs at vendbro.com/developers.Does VendBro work with Magic: The Gathering cards? ▾
Yes. VendBro recognizes about 112,000 Magic: The Gathering paper cards as of May 2026, including modern releases, commanders, and bonus sheets. MTG Arena and MTGO digital cards are deliberately filtered out — the scanner targets physical paper cards only. Pricing comes from PriceCharting and TCGCSV, with normal and foil tracked separately where data exists.
Is there an iOS app for VendBro? ▾
Two iOS apps are in TestFlight right now. The VendBro iOS app matches the Android and web build feature-for-feature. The second iOS app is Compera, a separate SwiftUI-native build with a multi-card AR overlay that pins on-screen checkmarks to physical cards as you scan a fan, plus a Lock Screen Live Activity for active scan sessions and a Control Center Quick Scan tile. App Store public submission is queued for both. Email support@vendbro.com to get on the tester list. See the updates page for the latest.
What is Compera? ▾
Compera is our second iOS app, currently in TestFlight. It uses the same account, scan history, and pricing data as the VendBro web and Android apps — log in once, your data follows. The native build adds multi-card scanning (lay out a fan of cards and on-screen checkmarks pin to each one as you scan through), a Lock Screen Live Activity for active scan sessions, a Control Center Quick Scan tile, and on iPhone 16 with iOS 26, Compera appears in the system Visual Intelligence results when you circle a card on screen. Holo and reverse-holo disambiguation is in development. Needs iPhone XS or newer and iOS 17 or later.
